Third grade has started First Chapter Fridays! Each Friday possible, students will be visited by a surprise guest speaker who will read the very first chapter of a book out loud! This is in hopes of generating interest in chapter books. First Chapter Friday could be a cornerstone for creating a lifelong love of reading in our students. Making books an exciting and shared experience will likely inspire many young readers to explore new stories independently. Mr. Damron
